Great Korean bbq! Definitely reminded me of California Korean BBQ like Kang Ho Dong. Ahhh. The beef combo was really good and just order a small side of the spicy pork bulgogi which is their signature dish. Great service!!

Decided to try out this new KBBQ restaurant. We were immediately seated on a Sunday evening. Other surrounding restaurants had 30-45 minute waits. It is not AYCE but they do have preset combo meat dishes in different sizes (small and large). It was recommended that we order a small combo and add extra dishes or meats if we wanted for our table of 4 (3 adults and 1 child). We ordered the small beef combo, added a pork jowl, cold noodles, jap chae, and steamed egg. Total cost of dinner was $160+ (without tip). The quality of meat is better than others but we prefer other places for the cold noodles and egg. Banchan was also good. Service was good and the wait staff cook the meat for you. Beware of some oil splatter when the meat is cooking. You sit on stools and the tables are a bit low. Overall, not bad. I'd come back for the meat.

Classic Korean bbq where they will cut and cook the meats in front of you. Lovely staff, and a nice ajumma cooking for us. Meats were well seasoned and fresh. The bonchan was delightful!

i was looking forward to trying this place out. as someone who moved to DFW from socal, i'm glad this place picked carrollton to be the second shop. the original location is in buena park, ca and was kinda surprised they would open up the second location in dfw. definitely not complaining though. This place reminds of me Baekjeong, which has locations all over socal. This place is NOT all you can eat, but the quality of meat and selections of banchan is far superior than typical all you can eat korean bbq joints. We ended up getting the small beef combo, and i'm glad we did. It was 80 bucks for three different types of meats. plus your choice of kimchi and soybean jjigae. of course you get your banchan.... we also ordered a small kimchi rice lunch box, which they will shake up in front of you. like i mentioned before the meat quality here is way better than the other all you can eat korean bbq spots. the short rib was by far the best tasting meat. it was so good, you didn't really need to use anything else (sauce wise) to enhance the flavor. The small is definitely good enough for 2 people, maybe 3 people. But i think for 3 people you may get a bit hungry. Protip: the seats (in the middle of the restaurants) can be lifted to store your purse or jackets or anything else, you help shield it from the smell or oils.

This place is fantastic. Best Korean BBQ we've had here in DFW. Short ribs are amazing. They don't even need any dipping sauce. Servers are attentive and friendly (ilunlike most KorBBQ places. Can't wait to try their special Bulgogo and the marinated pork.

This is a great Korean restaurant. Service was impeccable and ambiance was awesome, and the place felt like a higher end Korean restaurant. We ordered the beef special combo and seafood pancake. The beef was really good, and we enjoyed that a lot. I had high expectations for the kimchi jjigae but it turned out to be quite disappointing because firstly, it was consists of vegetables only and secondly, the taste was good, but it frankly didn't meet my expectations at all. The seafood pancake was also quite mediocre. The beef they have here are certainly better than AYCE places like Gen or Seapot, but for the price they charge, I would rather go to one of those cheaper places.

Tried several meats and quality is good. They have a pork with a spicy sauce that's different from other Kbbq places that was worth trying.

I was so excited to try this new kbbq spot! It can be hard to find at first: After parking in the lot, you need to walk to the other side of the building (the side facing the street traffic). When we arrived, everyone was so friendly! We ordered the beef special combo, which was delicious and the perfect size for two of us! I loved the banchan, and the special comes with a kimchi or soybean soup. The meats were much better quality than AYCE restaurants, but maybe not the best in Dallas. We also got the seafood pancake, which tasted more like an omelet than pancake. I would recommend focusing on the meats instead. I loved the layout of the seating; having a circle table makes for the perfect arrangement for a small group to chat and cook without anyone having to reach over too far. All the servers were very friendly and let us refill on our favorite banchan. Overall, a good experience!

I've been to Saemaeul twice and enjoyed both times very much. The service was very attentive and helpful to everything we needed. I thoroughly enjoyed all the different cuts of meat on the combination platter. The steamed egg was CHEESY and delicious.
